After a successful career with Mossy Oak, Blake Hamilton founded Nature’s Eye, a firm specializing in outdoor property development and investment. In partnership with like-minded conservationists, he helped create Cottonwood Sporting Club along the Trinity River, a premier destination for sportsmen and outdoor enthusiasts.

Reid S. Essl
Group President, Construction Materials

Reid Essl is the Group President of Construction Products at Arcosa, Inc. Arcosa, Inc. is a provider of infrastructure-related products and solutions with leading brands serving the construction, engineered structures, and transportation markets.
From 2016 to 2018, Reid served as the President of Trinity Construction Materials at Trinity Industries, Inc. From 2013 to 2016, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Construction, Energy, Marine, and Components businesses of Trinity Industries. In his 20-year career Reid has held a variety of operational, financial, strategic planning and business development positions.
Reid earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University in College Station and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He is currently a Board Member of Cristo Rey Dallas a private, independent Catholic high school located in the Pleasant Grove area of Southeast Dallas serving students from households of low to moderate income. He was a founding member of Young at Heart Dallas, an organization benefiting the American Heart Association as well as a member of Young Texans Against Cancer and the Think Ahead Group. Reid is also a member of the Lone Star Chapter of YPO (Young Presidents Organization)
Reid lives in Preston Hollow with his wife Ana and sons James Reid (4 yo) and Johnny (2 yo).
Blake Hamilton
Founding Partner in Cottonwood Sporting Club
Blake Hamilton is a Forester, Wildlife Biologist and the Founder of Nature’s Eye, a conservation driven enterprise that integrates land stewardship with real estate investment and development. A graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science and Faulkner State with a pre-law degree, Blake has built a distinguished career rooted in his passion for land, wildlife and natural resource management.
Blake began his career in the land business in 2001 with several land service companies. His previous experience and formal education, led to a career at Mossy Oak, where he spent nearly a decade in business development and land management, rising to an upper-level leadership position. His background in forestry and wildlife management, combined with business acumen, led him to found Nature’s Eye in 2013-aligning conservation values with business strategy to create lasting impact on private lands.
In 2017, Blake launched Nature’s Eye Natural Resource Investments (NRI), an integrated real estate investment and development firm specializing in recreational land between Houston and Dallas, Texas. Under his leadership, NRI has raised and deployed more than $100 million to acquire and enhance over 20,000 acres of premier recreational and conservation property.
Blake has been nationally recognized for his work in wildlife and habitat management. He was named the National Professional Deer Manager of the Year by the Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) in 2017 and received the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) Partners Award in 2018. A lifelong member of QDMA, Quail Forever, Pheasants Forever, he has delivered keynote addresses at major universities and national conventions and authored more than 50 publications on conservation.
He currently serves on the board of the Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation and served as Director of Ceremony at the Petroleum Club of Houston. His expertise spans forestry, wildlife management, recreational real estate investments and development. His work reflects a niche blend of biological expertise, land management knowledge and investment strategy; bridging the gap between conservation and commerce.
Blake and his wife, Tasha reside in Lufkin, Texas, with their three daughters Rivers, Finley, and Larkin- where they continue to share a love of the outdoors, conservation and stewardship of the land.

Joe Crafton
Joe Crafton retired as Chief Executive Officer of CROSSMARK, Inc. in 2014. In his 26-year career, CROSSMARK grew from a regional food broker with 110 employees to an international sales and marketing services company with over 40,000 associates in 5 countries. Before joining CROSSMARK, Joe held a variety of sales and management positions with Procter & Gamble after graduating from Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 1984.
Since retiring from CROSSMARK, Joe volunteered for a variety of non-profit organizations in the wildlife conservation field and served as Council President and National Vice President of the Boy Scouts of America. He has been awarded the two highest Scouting honors available for local and national volunteers; the Silver Beaver Award and the Silver Buffalo Award. He has also been honored with the Distinguished Eagle Award. In 2006, the BSA dedicated the Joe Crafton Sportsmans’ Complex at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia. Joe also funded the Gil Clements Shooting Sports Complex at Camp Wisdom in Dallas. He is the founder of numerous wildlife conservation groups including Park Cities Quail Coalition and Quail Coalition of Texas. These organizations have donated over $30 million to wildlife research and education in the State of Texas since 2007. Joe is past president of the Rolling Plains Quail Research Foundation and past president of Texan By Nature. He also serves on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Upland Game Bird Advisory Committee. In 2017 Joe purchased and renovated Dallas Hunting and Fishing Club. The club is the oldest of its kind in the Western US. He serves as President of Christian Sportsman’s Fellowship which conducts an annual prayer breakfast at the Dallas Safari Club Convention. Joe is a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church and a member of the International Order of St. Hubertus.
Joe serves on the board of directors of Acosta, Inc. A leading sales and marketing company.
He lives in Preston Hollow with his wife, Amy, and has three grown sons and one grandson.
Brian Olson
Brian Olson has 25 years of experience at Goldman Sachs in the Wealth Management division, now leading a team of nine professionals as one of the largest teams in Dallas. He provides advice to families of significant wealth regarding investing, banking, estate and philanthropy planning, and family office support.
In 2000, he graduated with honors from Baylor University and has been a member of the CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth since 2003. He currently serves as Treasurer and for the last 8 years on the board of trustees and executive board for Dallas College Foundation. For the last 10 years, Brian has served on the JDRF Dallas board and was the previous Chairman.
Growing up in Katy, TX, Brian has been an avid outdoorsman and waterfowler his entire life. Brian lives in Dallas and enjoys spending time with his 3 teenage sons, two at Episcopal School of Dallas playing football and one a Freshman at University of Texas, and wife of 21 years, Lane.
Kyle Drewery
First and foremost, Kyle is a devoted husband to his wife, Claire, and a proud father to two beautiful daughters, Blakely Ann (7) and Brooklyn Kyle (6). Family is at the center of his life and the foundation of his purpose. He finds his greatest joy in sharing life’s moments with them—whether at home or outdoors, enjoying God’s creation.
Kyle is the President and CEO of Drewery Construction Company, Inc., proudly representing over 75 years and three generations of family leadership within the company. Born in 1984 and now 41 years old, Kyle was raised with a deep appreciation for faith, family, and hard work—principles that continue to guide both his personal life and professional journey. Based in the oldest town in Texas—Nacogdoches—he leads with integrity, dedication, and purpose, carrying forward the values that have defined Drewery Construction for decades. Guided by his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Kyle believes true leadership is rooted in humility, service, and gratitude.
Kyle grew up hunting and fishing in East Texas with his mom and dad, his brother, and two sisters, frequently enjoying all that Lake Sam Rayburn and the surrounding areas had to offer. A lifelong outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and exploring the outdoors all around the world. He sees each experience as a reminder of God’s craftsmanship and the simple rewards of hard work and thankfulness.
Through his faith, family, and leadership at Drewery Construction, Kyle strives to honor God in all that he does while building lasting relationships and serving others with integrity and purpose.
Trey McWilliams
Owner & Chief Operating Officer, McWilliams & Son | Founder, Blue Cardinal Group
Born and raised in the heart of East Texas, Trey McWilliams is a third-generation business owner, outdoorsman, and community leader whose life and work are deeply rooted in the Pineywoods. As the Owner and Chief Operating Officer of McWilliams & Son Heating and Air Conditioning, Trey carries forward a legacy of integrity, service, and craftsmanship established by his grandfather nearly fifty years ago.
Trey’s upbringing among the pine forests, winding trails, and rivers of East Texas shaped both his character and his approach to leadership. An avid outdoorsman, he spends much of his free time on the water at Lake Sam Rayburn or along the Neches River, fishing, boating, and exploring the woods with his family and golden retrievers. Whether riding trails on a side-by-side or managing his hunting lease, Trey finds inspiration and balance in the land that raised him. His appreciation for East Texas’ natural beauty drives his belief in stewardship of people and place.
Professionally, Trey’s leadership is marked by a blend of operational expertise and visionary growth. Under his direction, McWilliams & Son has grown into one of the most respected service companies in the region, known for its commitment to customer care and community. In 2018, ACHR News recognized Trey as one of the Top 40 Under 40 in the HVACR industry for his innovation and leadership.
In 2022, Trey founded Blue Cardinal Group in partnership with Percheron Capital, an investment and leadership platform built to help contractors strengthen their businesses through team development, strategic marketing, and community engagement. His mission centers on helping good companies become great—anchored in faith, integrity, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
A devoted husband and father, Trey and his wife Brittinee are raising their three children—Presley, Brynley, and Sawyer—to value faith, family, and the simple joys of life outdoors. Whether guiding a growing business or navigating the backroads of East Texas, Trey leads with the same steady hand and grounded spirit that define both his family and his home.

Clint Murchison, Sr was born in Tyler, Texas in 1895 and grew up in Athens, Texas. He worked at his father’s bank and served as a first lieutenant in the US Army during WWI before joining lifelong friend Sid Richardson (patriarch of the Bass family of Ft Worth) as struggling lease traders in the Burkburnett oilfields in 1919.
